you can set up the 5610 as a regular IP phone if you are doing a point-to-point vpn. this has been VERY easy to set up. we use the netgear FVS338 router at the main office and then netgear FVS114 routers at the smaller office/home. if its any bigger 2 people at the remote office, we just put the FVS338 at both ends.
