I use a winXP Laptop and i installed the Cisco VPN Client 4.0.4 Rel K9, i don't know what is the problem with the laptop because it can't establish the connection. This is the message error: "Secure VPN Connection terminated locally by the Client Reason: 403 Unable to contact the security gateway" I All these tasks should be completed before attempting to initiate your VPN session. To collect logs from the VPN session : To configure the log settings, select Log > Log Settings from the Cisco VPN client. Set all levels to 3 and click OK . To enable the log, select Log > Enable , or CTRL-E .
